About MarionBorn in the Swedish town Södertälje in December 1973 by Finnish parents. 1993-1994 January-December Studies fine arts at the Culture School ("Kulturskolan") in Södertälje, Sweden, educated by the much-appreciated Chilean artist Rolando Perez.Summer 1994Moves to Rome, Italy. Spring 1995First own separate art exhibition in Casa Internazionale della Donna, Rome.1995One-year course for foreign pupils at the Scuola dell´arte della madeglia at the Italian Mint Printing Institute.1996 - 1999Accepted after entrance exam at the three year original course at "Scuola dell'arte della Medaglia" at the Italian Mint Printing Institute. Studied live drawing and practised techniques of different materials such as relief modelling, three dimensional modelling, engravings, enamels and design of medals as well as technology and art history. Summer 1995Attends the international ceramics course Seminario di Sargadelos in Spain, after being awarded a scholarship from the Swedish Agust Rignér's foundation for young artisans..
